In 1950, Henry C. Boyle Jr. purchased Hollander Funeral Home in Framingham, changing the name to Hollander-Boyle Funeral Home. Shortly thereafter, he and his brother Edward F. Boyle moved the funeral home to its present location at 173 Union Avenue, renaming it Boyle Brothers Funeral Home. The Boyles operated the business together until Edward's death in 1972. In 1985, Henry's son, Henry III became fully licensed and joined the business. Henry Jr. died in 1988, and Henry has continued to own and operate the family business independently.
