Januskiewicz, Ingrid T. (Savolainen)

Born and raised in Maynard, she was the daughter of the late Mattie and Alviina A. (Liimatainen) Savolainen. Mrs. Januskiewicz centered her life on her husband and three sons, and especially liked taking the boys fishing when they were young. She loved to read and knit, and traveled three times to visit relatives in Finland. An excellent cook, she also like to spend time caning chairs, canning vegetables and making pepper relish. She was a member of the Maynard Senior Citizens, enjoying many of the club's outings. She was the loving mother and mother-in-law of the late David and Karen Januskiewicz, sister of the late Toini Savolainen, and grandmother of the late Paula Januskiewicz.

She is survived by two sons, Peter Januskiewicz and wife Doris of Michigan, and Roy Januskiewicz and wife Priscilla of Nashua, NH.; grandchildren, Eric, Mark, Dana, Amy and Paul Januskiewicz.

The funeral service was held on Monday, August 30th at 10:00 a.m. at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton, iwth Rev. Christopher George Hoyer, Pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial followed in Glenwood Cemetery, Great Rd. (Rte 117) Maynard. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 16 Great Rd. Sudbury, MA. 01776.
