age 57, of Dorchester, formerly of Newton and Waltham, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 12, 2008.

Born in Waltham and raised in Waltham and Newton, she was the daughter of Pauline P. (MacKenzie) Chase and the late Edward M. Fanning.

Ms. Fanning was a graduate of Newton High Sc hool. She loved to cook, and owned and operated a catering business for time, and later worked as a chef at various establishments in the area. She also enjoyed the beach and lived on Cape Cod before moving to Dorchester.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, Scott Fanning; her step-father Roy "Bud" Chase; and her longtime companion of over 20 years, Edward Sullivan and his family.

All were invited to a graveside service on Thursday, April 17th at 11:00am in Brookside Cemetery, Rte 62, Stow.
