age 88, a native of Akron, Ohio, died peacefully on Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Inn at Robbins Brook in Acton, MA.
Mrs. Stringfellow was the beloved wife of the late William Stringfellow, and is survived by her son, Bill Stringfellow of Kansas; daughter Linda Potter of Acton; 4 grandchildren,
Laura Stringfellow, Juliana Potter, James Potter, Jason Potter; and 2 sisters, Eileen Herdina and Bernadine Pearce. She was the beloved sister of the late John, Carl, Paul and Jim Dougherty.
A memorial Mass and with a graveside service following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Akron Zoo, In memory of Marilyn Stringfellow, 500 Edgewood Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44307.
