Long, Deborah Boyle Brothers Funeral Home age 56, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at her home. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Vivian (Sansoucy) Long. She was a graduate of Elizabeth Seton High School in Wellesley with the class of 1969, and Westbrook College in Westbrook Maine with a degree in nursing. A registered nurse for many years, Deborah worked as a surgical nurse at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Newton-Wellesley Hospital and at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. She later worked as an instructor for the former Sudbury Pines Nursing School before retiring. Deborah enjoyed raising and caring for her three golden retrievers. She leaves a brother: Richard W. Long of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., a niece: Christina Long; a grand-nephew: Robert Billsten; an aunt: Lynn Dean and three dear friends: Marguerite Hopkins, Claire Donohue and Gail Rattuci. There was a visiting hour Friday April 18 from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at Boyle Brothers Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. A funeral service followed the visitation at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
