age 42, of Maynard, formerly of Framingham, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at her Maynard home. She was the wife of Martin W. Ryan, to whom she was married for 20 years.
Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Richard P. and Sandra P. (Donohue) Boreson.
Raised in Framingham, she was a graduate of Keefe Technical School and former parishioner of St. Stephen's Church in Framingham. Through the years she traveled with her children and husband, Martin, who served in the US Navy. The family settled in Maynard four years ago. Mrs. Ryan enjoyed crocheting, and her family remembers her as a loving and caring person who especially enjoyed doing things for others.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Katelyn and Patrick Ryan; and a brother Edward Boreson & his wife Ellen and their children Dillon & Michaela all of Maynard; aunts & uncles, William Donohue & wife Marybeth of Dalton, NH., Karen Farrar of West Boylston; Jacqueline & Michael Feldman of Manchester, NH; and Lillian Sauta of Hudson; and many cousins & close family members.
All were invited to visiting hours on Friday, April 18th from 5:00-8:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Mass Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 19th at 9:00am in St. Bridget's Church, corner of Percival & Sudbury Streets, Maynard, with burial following in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Maynard. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.
